ROBOT 6 TALKS TO NEW CRUSADERS EDITOR PAUL KAMINSKI ON LOST CRUSADE AND MORE

New Crusaders Editor Paul Kaminski spoke with Robot 6 about what’s on the horizon for the digital-first series. The most immediate change that will go into effect is that beginning with the second arc, New Crusaders will switch format from the 6-page acts to a traditional day-and-date release for both print and digital.

In addition, the Lost Crusade stories, which focuses on the classic Red Circle Heroes leading up to the events in New Crusaders, will now be released monthly on the app. New creators will be brought in to breathe life into these stories including Sergio Cariello, Howard Mackie, Scott and David Tipton.

Kaminski commented on the new editions, “All the creators involved in both New Crusaders and Lost Crusade have been briefed by the Red Circle brain trust as to the ultimate story goals of the Red Circle universe. Readers of Lost Crusade gain special insight into the events unfolding in the main title and also allows some of the most talented people in comics to play in the Red Circle sandbox.”

Kaminski also teased the second arc, the cover which can be viewed after the break. Art by Jerry Gaylord, Kent Archer and Thomas Mason.
