The Fox #1 Earns Rave Reviews

The Fox #1 doesn’t hit comic shops until tomorrow, but it’s already receiving plenty of early praise from comic sites and retailers alike. Comic Book Resources has given it 4 out of 5 stars, stating that, “The Fox” #1 is a delightfully fun, throwback comic well-suited to find hands and eyes of both new and lapsed comic book readers.” Den of Geek also gave it 4/5 stars, calling it “an awesome comic that packs more fun and action per page than you can believe!” and stating that “the folks at Archie Comics are making genuine comic books for genuine comic book fans.” It is also one of Broken Frontier’s Staff Picks for October 30th, 2013 (“unexpected yet welcome next phase in Archie Comics’ reforged commitment to superheroes”), one of This Week’s Essential Comics on Comic Vine, (“Sleek design overlaid with Waid dialogue makes this one an essential”), and one of both JHU Comic Books and Escape Pod Comic’s Hot Picks on 13th Dimension (“this fun and funky iteration of an old character is something really different to look forward to!”)
